Emotion, by definition, is a reaction to event which is relevant to self or what oneself identify with.
Once emotion is activated, it seldom last shorter than the event itself. It is common that emotional reaction to a past event carry-over its effect to another event. The nature of emotion is thus a reaction to perceive harm or gain that is generalized to other event.
A thought on Chinese Palmistry

Palmistry essentially said what is shown in your Palm demonstrate your most likely pathway in life. However, since we are born with 2 hands, the classification is one hand belong to the potentiality while the other hand belong to actuality. This classification, I suppose it has relationship with the handiness of that person. Left hand is consider as potentiality since most people doesn’t use that hand much, or that hand is always in role of auxiliary. On the contrary, the right hand is consider as actuality because most people prefer to use that hand: It play the role of dominant hand.
So the left-potentiality, right-actuality classification is due to habit of handiness. Therefore for those whose dominant hand is left instead of right, or some which both hand share similar role; the interpretation of potentiality and actuality could be reverse. The later case is most interesting since we don’t have a dominant hand, i.e. it depend on which hand the person is using for the outcome of an event.
That brought me to the question of how does pre-determined Fate interact with Free Will. If my theory is correct then one can simply change his destinate by manipulated the handiness of the individual. It is like a left-handed person learn to become right-handed, then the mirror of symmetry is broken, the destination would be rewritten. Or vice versa. For someone who can easily switch the dominant hand, there is nothing known as pre-destination to him/her. Potentiality could switch to actuality, and actuality could become potentiality. Sort of like quantum-transformation.
Thus, the framework which palmistry is built has inherent variability. Palmistry only define the range or parameter of one’s life, but it is no telling of what one can achieve. (Maybe by switching one’s thinking, one immediately change his/her destinate.)
Stage-Dependence in Accerlating Process?

It follow from yesterday’s discussion of Double Stage Oscillation that there may exist an optimal way of accelerating an object. i.e. It is not just the total strength of the force that matter, it is also about how you apply a force that matter. i.e. The result of applying a 5N at one time maybe different from applying a 3N then 2N. Assuming what we discuss yesterday could be applicable to every kind of motion, i.e. we should every kind of motion (circular and linear) as essentially oscillation.
Ignore it is about gravity yesterday, assume it is just about any kind of motion. Then it follows that if we apply an increasing force that varies as a function of time-squared in a function ( time^2*k, k is a constant), we maybe able to accelerate the object beyond the normal boundary set by F=ma. Or, in a sense, F=ma is only an (linear) approximation of the reality of oscillation(an equation contain X^2). It is accurate so far due to the way we applied the force, and limitation of the measurement apparatus.( and The limit of imagination, most likely.)
Related thought is another way to shoot a projectile, instead of explosion we could use oscillation as a method. When the object we want to shoot is at maximum amplitude of oscillation, then we cut the rope and let it run free. Notice that this mechanism is different from my other idea of shooting a bullet, although both are without the reaction force.
Hypothesis on Swing Pendulum

1. Tension of the thread as a spring obtaining Hook’s law.
As the pendulum swing, the thread is continually oscillating in its length.
2. It is a circular motion with angular momentum involved. And forces may play contradictory role in accelerating and decelerating the circular motion at the same time.
3. It is a mistake and misunderstanding to treat it as linear free-falling motion.

Hypothesis:
In a pendulum, If we replace Thread with spring, and we let the spring oscillate with a mass it carries. Then we swing the pendulum.
If the frequency of oscillation of the spring is a ‘good match’ with the swinging motion of pendulum. We would thus obtain resonance. Which is another demonstration of Double Stage oscillation, and Lawrence’s invention is based on that.
